One King's Lane is killing it lately with not only their product but their home tours. My latest favorite is of Sue De Chiara's fabulous home. Her mix of color, texture and accessories packs the perfect amount of punch in her family home. She also has a great blog and shop - The Zhush.  Lauren Muse helped her with the project...
Speaking of projects I have a slew of photoshoots lined up for the summer!! Can't wait to share the goodness..

Wes Anderson Miniture sets by Mar Cerda - Interior Design 2016

I am sure any Wes Anderson fan will appreciate the stunning work of artist Mar Cerda..... her tiny Wes Anderson sets are truly awesome. I love miniature train from The Darjeeling Ltd, one of my favorite of Andersons films, the detail is outstanding!

Mar has a background in art direction and as well as making these cute little scenes is also an illustrator of children's books

Summer blooms... - Interior Design 2016

I finally got around to planting the pots in front of my home this weekend. I went with beautiful, lush, blue hydrangeas. The full green leaves and large blooms won me over. The best part? I'm going to transfer them to the garden out front at the end of the summer! Hydrangeas pack a punch and when large enough make for a great cutting flower to bring indoors. They are also fairly easy to maintain. I was tired of them at one point but my love for these classic beauties has returned. (plus they remind me of New England during the warm weather) and it doesn't get much better than that! Hope your week is off to a great start...Mondays aren't so bad during the summer months.

"It is with a heavy but hopeful heart that I have decided to sell my Treehouse on Bramley Mountain in Bovina, NY.  It is a house I built with my hands situated on 6.45 acres of land just 3 hours Northwest of New York City in the Catskill Mountains.  It has long been a place I call my second home, where I recharge from the hustle of the city and where I find grounding and infinite peace.  There is a big, beautiful spring fed pond stocked with edible fish, a small fire pit and a place to hang a hammock.  There is an unmatched community of great people both local and city dwellers who have carved out a life filled with charming businesses and hand built homes.  I will miss it dearly but I am hoping that someone who feels as much love for the woods as I do will find it to be as much of a treasure as I have.  "

Shelter Loves.... - Interior Design 2016

Friday already?? This week really did fly..I could use a few more hours to work! I'm feeling inspired lately, the change of seasons can do that. Here is what I'm eyeing! Hope your weekend is as fabulous as you!

1. Copper but copper and brass?? Even better. These lights are beautiful.. Now I need to find a place to use them..A powder room perhaps??? Or a three season porch?? Find them here.  I especially love that they are from a decommissioned boat!!! Design that tells a story is so interesting and usually spot on. (p.s. I am also warming up to shiny nickel again. There is something very clean about it)

2. Julia? Gorgeous all the time. I am still on a huge stripe kick this summer. You should see the adorable shirt I picked up yesterday! It'll be perfection with white jeans. I posted it on insta.

3. This is in my cart! I think I need the yellow or both!!

4. Okay, so I am always on the hunt for rugs for my wonderful clients. This is beautiful. It is Chinese and referred to as a Baotou Rug. 

5. All too often we put others before ourselves. To remain balanced and happy you really need to put yourself first sometimes..Remember that! Moms are especially guilty of this. kiss kiss.

6. I love a few things about this image but I'm really focusing on the brilliant idea to hide the tv, the hinged door conceals the entire shelving system when closed! This is a common design question, to hide or not hide the television!!??
