Love the look - Interior Design 2016

Today I'm featuring "weekend wear" for vacay days! We all deserve them and usually love putting on something comfy to run errands and chill in! I had the Nike Cortez in middle school and adored them. This sweet gold pair is on my wish list - I'm sentimental like that!! 🙌
Be sure to check back tomorrow for my early access picks for the Nordstrom anniversary sale!! They'll be some amazing deals and I'm sharing my favorites!!!

Summer style - Interior Design 2016

If there is one designer's style and use of color that resonates with me it is Summer Thornton's designs. Summer strikes perfection again with this gorgeous Wisconsin lake house. I love when my client's allow me to get daring with color. The results are always amazing! I love each and every detail, pattern and color Summer used in her latest design feature. Find the entire story in this month's issue of House Beautiful.
I just had chairs painted this exact shade for a client. I'm also doing a "cadet blue" island for a client!

I love these lamps. My father always said they were 'student' lampshades but I love the big moon shapes glowing with a warm low watt bulb inside.

Love the look - Interior Design 2016

During the summer months, you'll often find me sipping cocktails on Friday evenings by the ocean. Today's outfit is the perfect look for this casual pastime. Cheers!

Camellas-Lloret: French Elegance - Interior Design 2016

"We feel like where you live is where you should get your things—they should be authentic," Moore says of how they thrifted accents for the home from the area.

The above pictures are all from a May feature in Architectural digest and I don't know about you but after seeng these stunning Images of the stunning French house, was left wanting to learn a little more abut this calm, rustic home. A little google search quickly satisfied my thirst for more.

The beautiful home 18th Century home is situated in the centre of Montréal, a picturesque village in the Languedoc region of France and has been lovingly restored by its current owners Annie and Colin Moore

"tucked away on a medieval hilltop village in the languedoc, camellas-lloret Is a love project by annie and colin moore, who met on a train leaving paris in 1982.  together they dreamed of creating a place to celebrate and share the pleasures of french life with friends and travellers.  thirty years, three kids, and many adventures later they fell for this classic 18th-century house in an unspoiled corner of the south of france and camellas-lloret was born."

So the good news about this stunning home is that it also serves as a Bed and Breakfast. Below are some more photos from Camellas-Lloret's webpage

Sourcing : Semikah Rugs - Interior Design 2016

it was little surprise to me when I read Semikah's 'about' page to find out that photographer Carly Page was one of the ladies behind Semikah. The photography was actually the first thing that drew my attention to Semikah Textiles. Although there are loads of beautiful images on their webpage of the stunning rugs I really loved the vibe of the pictures of them sourcing the rugs and meeting the makers, maybe because like many others, I would consider this to be my absolute dream job!!
