Summer - Bucket List - Interior Design 2016

I love each season for various reasons but I will say that summer is extra sweet, especially because the Spring is usually pretty rainy and cold around here! I've done some of the items on my Summer bucket list before but they are all goodies..Here are my summer wishes + goals. 

1. Skinny dip!
2. Up my running game. I run a few times a week but I want to add some distance and speed to the routine. I also need to do more yoga and meditating. 
3. Take my kids on a "real" picnic.
4. Travel someplace that I have never been. This is Austria. I'm not sure if that will happen this summer but it is certainly on my travel list!!
5. Surf. I have surfed before but I want to give it another shot. It's fun. 
6. This book has great reviews. I am going to read the book, then watch the movie. Historical fiction is my favorite reading genre. I'm also a bit of a romantic and appreciate a love story. 💗
7. I LOVE fireworks. Watching fireworks is on my list!!
8. I want to cook some new recipes, these sound good!
9. Over sand driving, preferably on Nantucket. I also adore vintage Jeep Grand Wagoneers.

Beach days...... - Interior Design 2016

My kids are out of school for the summer today! They asked last night "how many weeks they will spend in camp?" I think they are ready to play at the beach and relax (if that is possible) poolside. I promised them camp is fun too! ;) *because Mommy does need to work.... I have to admit, summer is my favorite season. We get a limited amount of warm weather in Boston. I'm very ready to soak it all up! I live a mile from the beach and enjoy the casual style that brings. I love the carefree, colorful design of this seaside home! Interior: Caroline Rafferty. Dining Al Fresco - Interior Design 2016

I FINALLY had the opportunity to enjoy some amazing weather outdoors this weekend! I even fit in three days of running outside, which is an added bonus. After a taste of perfect weather I am looking forward to dining outdoor this summer. I came across this lovely home and inviting dining area via @bungalowblue on Instagram. Shelter loves.... - Interior Design 2016

Hello, hello! My apologies for the radio silence. I have been busy living, working, designing, ordering client goodies, folding, cleaning, living, traveling and shuttling my kids to an array of sporting events and practice. I'm sharing what's on my brain today. 

I'll be back tomorrow with more design inspiration - promise! 

1. I prefer rooms and people who don't take themselves too seriously!! This is such a carefree fun children's space. 
2. Ok, I have an affinity of bohemian inspired eyelet blouses. Thank god my good friend is usually with me when I see them out shopping. She says "you have something very similar to that, put it back". She has saved me hundreds of dollars. hehe
3. I went to New Orleans, Louisiana a couple of weeks ago. I LOVED that city. The food, people, architecture, colorful streets. It's a bit quirky but that is a apart of the charm.

4. Wonderful sentiment.Everything looks and sounds better in French. Don't you agree?
5. We all have rough days, flowers always cheer me up. Peonies, which are blooming soon here in the Northeast are my favorite. Their layered, fluffy petals and rich color are LOVELY.

Luxe in London - Interior Design 2016

All eyes are on England this week with the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's adorable baby, Archie Harrison. My aunt often traveled to England when I was a little girl. I remember anxiously awaiting my treasure when she returned. My perfectly packaged gift was most often a memento of Princess Diana or Buckingham Palace. I grew up enamored with Princess Diana's grace, charm and beauty. I am not going to speak for everyone but I think most of us can appreciate following a fairytale across the pond. Everything about the images released today, warms my heart. I've also shared Vista-Jet founder Nina Flohr's uber chic London townhouse.
